Our returns policy
Rubix Peptides is a trading name of Hudson Global Trading Ltd, company number 16500486. Our registered office is 1, Hawkridge Court, Cherbury Close, Bracknell, United Kingdom, RG12 9JQ. This policy applies to purchases from rubixpeptides.com. It explains how to cancel an order, report a problem and obtain a refund. It does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For any cancellation, return or delivery issue, email rubixpeptides@tuta.com. Include your order number, name, the affected item and a short description of what you need. Our WhatsApp Business number is +44 7538 350304.
Cancelling before dispatch
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or correct an order. We will confirm whether dispatch can be stopped. If it has already been dispatched, the applicable cancellation and returns rules below still apply. A request to cancel is not the same as a request to amend an order; we will not charge for or substitute a different product without agreement.
Cancellation after dispatch
Where a customer has a statutory right to cancel an order, that right may be exercised before or after dispatch within the applicable cancellation period.
Dispatching an order does not remove or restrict any statutory cancellation rights. Where an order has already been dispatched, the customer should follow our returns procedure.
Any applicable statutory exceptions to cancellation rights remain unaffected.
UK consumer cancellation rights
If you are an individual buying wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you normally have a legal right to cancel a distance purchase without giving a reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receives the goods. For one order delivered in separate lots, it normally runs from receipt of the last lot.
Send a clear cancellation statement to our email or registered office before the period expires. You do not need our prior approval to exercise a legal right to cancel. Then send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us. Contacting us promptly allows us to provide appropriate return-handling instructions. A delay in our reply does not shorten your statutory rights.
Keep evidence of dispatch and package the items securely. You may inspect goods as you reasonably could in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Cancellation information and order confirmation
Where statutory consumer cancellation rights apply, Rubix Peptides will provide the required cancellation information before the customer places an order and confirm the applicable information on a durable medium, such as an order confirmation email, in accordance with applicable law.
Customers may notify us of cancellation using the optional cancellation form provided in this policy or by making any other clear statement of their decision to cancel.
Customers are not required to obtain prior approval to exercise a statutory cancellation right.
Return postage costs
Where a consumer exercises a valid statutory right to cancel an order without giving a reason, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided this responsibility was disclosed before purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.
Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise fail to meet applicable statutory requirements, Rubix Peptides will cover reasonable return costs where legally required.
Customers should contact us before returning potentially hazardous, leaking or contaminated laboratory materials so that suitable return arrangements can be made.
Exceptions and laboratory materials
The legal cancellation right has limited exceptions, including goods made to a customer’s specifications, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and sealed goods genuinely unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. We rely on an exception only where it actually applies to the goods and circumstances. A research-only label, by itself, does not remove consumer rights.
Keep vials sealed and follow their stated storage conditions while deciding whether to return them. Opening, using, mixing or contaminating a product may affect a change-of-mind return or its value; it does not automatically remove a valid claim that the product was faulty when supplied. Do not return leaking, contaminated or otherwise unsafe material without contacting us for safe handling instructions.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing goods
Contact us promptly if an order arrives damaged, is incomplete, contains the wrong item or does not match its description. Retain the parcel, packaging and labels where safe. Photographs of the problem, order details and a batch reference help us investigate, but we will consider other reasonable evidence. A request for prompt reporting does not impose a shorter deadline on your legal rights.
For consumers, goods must meet the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where applicable, you have a short-term right to reject non-conforming goods, normally within 30 days, and rights to repair or replacement and, in the circumstances provided by law, a price reduction or final rejection. We will pay reasonable return costs for a valid faulty, damaged or incorrect-goods claim. We will not require you to resolve our obligations solely with the courier.
A product is not faulty simply because a particular experimental result was not achieved. We will nevertheless investigate evidence that it failed to meet the specification or description agreed at purchase. Damage attributable to misuse, contamination or incorrect storage after delivery is assessed on the evidence and applicable law.
Packing, dispatch and delivery evidence
To protect both customers and Rubix Peptides, we may retain relevant records relating to the preparation, packing and dispatch of orders.
These records may include:
- Photographs or video recordings of products and packaging before dispatch.
- Parcel weights and packing records.
- Product batch numbers and identification details.
- Royal Mail or other courier tracking information.
- Proof of postage and delivery confirmation.
Where an order is reported as missing, incomplete, damaged or incorrect, we may review these records alongside photographs, correspondence and other reasonable evidence supplied by the customer.
Such records assist with investigating disputes but do not automatically determine their outcome or remove any statutory consumer rights.
Personal information collected or retained for these purposes will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
Wholesale and business purchases
Orders placed wholly or mainly for business, trade, laboratory or professional purposes are treated as business-to-business transactions where the purchaser does not qualify as a consumer under applicable law.
The statutory consumer 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to genuine business purchases.
Access to a wholesale account, private catalogue, affiliate programme or business pricing does not, by itself, determine whether a customer qualifies as a consumer.
Business customers do not have a general contractual right to return goods due to a change of mind after dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Nothing in this section excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Return address and procedure
Return correspondence and cancellation notices may be sent to Hudson Global Trading Ltd, 1, Hawkridge Court, Cherbury Close, Bracknell, United Kingdom, RG12 9JQ. Email before physically returning laboratory materials so we can confirm appropriate packaging and any alternative receiving address. We cannot require a return-authorisation number as a condition of exercising a statutory right.
Include your order reference and contact details in the parcel. Use a suitable delivery service and keep proof of posting. For agreed exchanges, we will confirm the replacement item, any price difference and dispatch arrangements in writing.
How refunds are made
Refunds are made to the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed, without a refund fee. For a valid consumer cancellation, we refund the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option; an additional premium-delivery charge need not be refunded. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. The refund will then be made without undue delay and within 14 days of that event. If no goods were supplied or we offer to collect them, the applicable deadline is normally 14 days after your cancellation notice.
For a valid consumer rejection of faulty goods, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days after agreeing your entitlement to the refund. Your bank or payment service may take additional time to display a completed refund. Contact us if an expected refund has not appeared.
Optional cancellation form
You can cancel in any clear words; using this form is optional. Send it to rubixpeptides@tuta.com or Hudson Global Trading Ltd at the registered office above.
